I'm not like the other wardens I'm like a cool warden
Passengers: Loki and Jack
Location: Solitary
Date: 2/15, shortly after pairings were announced
Summary: Time to get acquainted in the jail-in-jail
Warnings: N/A
It's convenient that pairings are announced when they are. Loki's less actively enraged than he was before, but he'd still been about to send the Navarch a sternly worded complaint when she sent them out. He's suitably distracted, particularly given the fact that his new inmate has been locked up for her part in whatever was going on while he was-- well, it doesn't matter what he was doing planetside, really. The point is, he has to square her away before he addresses the Navarch's...judgment.
What isn't convenient is having to arrange for the door to be opened, which honestly makes him look forward to a permanent pairing, even if that's a daunting prospect. At least he'd have one thing under control. Er. Person. Ideally.
When Loki enters the solitary unit, he's dressed down, for his standards. Soft things, not armor or anything tailored, his hair tied back in a braid. His stance is just as casual, with his shoulders relaxed and lips quirked in light amusement.
"Not the ideal first meeting, I suppose, but I've had worse," he remarks. "As I'm sure you have."
He grabs the chair from the desk and drags it over to sit all in one graceful motion. "I'm Loki. Your warden for the month, if you haven't seen the message."

Scowling, angry at the whole damn situation, she slowly sits down on the spartan cot. Her posture is relaxed, elbows on her knees, but anyone who is more than a little observant can tell it's a lie: her muscles are tense and coiled, still ready to bolt even if she has consciously put that option on the shelf.
"Great," she says, dripping sarcasm. "What do you want?"
