"This is the most practical thing I can do. If they want me to stop trying to break this system, they're going to have to kill me. It's a win-win situation, because Nav doesn't have a fucking peanut gallery."

"Well, I agree it's practical. You don't look like you could throw a punch." Alex said with a half-smirk. "Seriously though, good luck with trying to logic break it. I really am curious about if it can be done."

[saklas]

"I don't want to look like I could throw a punch, thanks."

Volk bats his eyelashes sarcastically.

"What are you asking it for, did you have time to ponder all of the fantastic options?"

[lessandmorethanhuman]

"I'll be saving up for fancier a fancier pillow and blanket. I figured I'd stay practical for now."

[saklas]

"A blanket? Whoa, don't go nuts or anything. These are precious commodities."

[lessandmorethanhuman]

"Excuse me for having simple wants." Alex retorts back, just as dryly. "I'm more interested in figuring out the metric by which they measure just how many tickets we get." But he was serious about wanting the nicer pillow and blanket.

[saklas]

"Huh. That's right, nobody knows how many anyone else got."

He turns his over in his hand.

"I could counterfeit these."

His tone is too light for this to be a threat so much as an idle statement. He could!

[lessandmorethanhuman]

"We'll probably have to all talk to each other, to figure out how many tickets each of us got." Alex mused. "How would you counterfeit them?"

[saklas]

Volk shrugs one shoulder.

"It looks like the foam the blankets are made of, if you could get a box cutter and you had a lot of time..."

But, like, what's the point?

[lessandmorethanhuman]

"That's more work than just figuring out the system and how to game it." Alex pointed out.

[saklas]

"Yeah, but instead of doing things they'd want to reward it'll piss em off."

[lessandmorethanhuman]

Alex just shrugged. "I see your point, and if you want to put that much effort in, you go ahead. I'll stick with trying to game the system once I figure it out." A pause, and then he spoke again. "3 tickets."

[saklas]

"Five. Don't look at me, though, I don't know what I did."

[lessandmorethanhuman]

"Hmmm. You've posted to the network a lot, and interacted with almost everyone as far as I can tell." Alex guessed, thinking back. "Still, one person does not a data-set make. Thanks for sharing though."

[saklas]

"Sure. Tell me if you find anything or if its completely random and they don't give a shit."

"It'll take a bit, but sure." Now Alex is going to raise an eyebrow. "You going to try to break this yet already."

"I'm trying to break all of it, yes." Obviously.
