Alex didn't seem thrilled to head to the greenhouse, but it's one of the places on the ship Claire likes to spend time in now and then. She misses nature, even if their last stop wasn't all that long ago, and there's something about the artificial lighting and substrate that makes her feel odd. It's as close as she'll get to it when they're in space.

"Anything at home like this?" She asks, vaguely.

She cants her head to the side.

"A futuristic Noah's Ark," she muses. "I think it's fascinating. I think it's where science in my time would hope to wind up. The ability to travel between planets and survive the journey is remarkable."

"A very optimistic view." Alex commented dryly. "I wish I could focus only on the optimistic."

"It takes practice. I think being a natural optimist is rare."
