this is the part where prison is more or less dave and busters
Passengers: Everyone who wants to come see what the weird vending machine is about for the first time it is open to them! This is an open mingle/party style log.
Location: "a corner," the location of the Commissary
Date: February 1 - 7 on year one of our cool and sexy journey
Summary: 14 space idiots squint at the ATM that can supposedly make elk meat and clown shoes for them
Warnings: Will add as needed! I'm 90% sure someone's going to ask for drugs or blades, just as a weather forecast

Well, then. You can tell whoever's watching your broadcasts that I'm going to kick that guy's ass sometime.

I've cut through ten assholes like him in a minute, he won't be any different.

[He’s already got a spoiled narcissist (affectionate) with a lousy personality on his checking account.]

Let me think. Probably you'd want a set piece to hang the middle off of. Maybe a new inmate comes in. Let's say an axe murderer. And who turns up dead first? That's right, obviously William. People group up, but they get picked off one at a time. The wardens try to call the Navarch for help, but when they try to find her they uncover a conspiracy. Something like that. Anyway, the two of you end up fighting at a bad time and you get separated from the group, but you obviously can't split up because the murderer likes single targets.
[this will go on truly for as long as you allow it to]

The fuck? Dude, running through a slasher flick is not my thing at all. If an axe murderer shows up, I want to fight him.

[Where'd he get that pen? Why is he clicking it so much.]
Let's tweak it. What if there's no new passenger, so it has to be someone that's already here? And, of course, people suspect you, but only you know you're innocent. That frees it up to maybe even be Rhys, and you get an actual showdown at the end after he spends a ton of the plot convincing everybody he's -
Y'know. The way he actually is.
[kind of high strung and ineffectual]
Then you get a really cool fight, because naturally you're the only one that can take him.
no subject
Alright, I'm into that. But he's got to have some cool secret abilities he busts out, because right now I just wanna beat on the guy until he gets stronger to give me a challenge.

[Air quotes here]
"malfunctioning" to slam people into the ceilings and walls. Maybe whole wings flooding and then filling with current for the first person who opens the door.

And he puts up this incredible fight, and it's real. No pulled punches, only cuts where it's subtle. No fucking CGI, not wherever you can avoid it. My eyes always glaze over at that shit, trying to make one medium something that it isn't. Just a man against a machine who has forsaken his humanity. Shit. That'd be cool.

[Volk nods.]
CGI gets a bad rep, anything looks fake if the person using it is bad at their job. I can do it without, though. Budget will be interesting, but I can argue for it, and I can definitely get the reanimators. You want to play yourself?
[In this thing that's definitely not happening because they're both in prison.]
no subject
One hundred percent, man. I'm a little out of shape now, but I can get back into it no problem. If I can do it for real, then I can do it for film, you know? I've always wanted to be in a movie.

[Volk has clicked into his element here, and his amused smile doesn't even have any hard, mean edge in it.]
no subject
[And he's a gamer. All of that experience counts.]
no subject
Isn't the point of assassinating to not be seen or caught doing it?

no subject
That's pretty cool. Uhm. Yeah, this sounds like it'll be fun, hopefully no one will die for real.

[It's pointless to ask actors to Not fuck up their bodies, so Volk just doesn't try any more, but not passing out inside of a scene is a great quality.]

[This is just a rumor, Volk has not met anyone that famous, ever.]
Either that or I can have someone double you - that's also easy. Picture of you, one of those big printer racks that uses biological pigments, bam.

[34 feels a lifetime away from 29 but. You know.]

You're the talent.
[That's "whatever your baby brain needs you fucking maniac just please show up on time so the rest of us can work" in Volk's stock talking-to-actors speak.]
I'll get you a trainer, you can't park your car on the street where I live without having to scrape personal trainers off of the windshield in the morning.
